About Us
Gerrard Consulting has been delivering testing services since 1984 and we have gained a reputation for innovative independent thinking based upon an honest open relationships with our clients. Often, clients come to us because of specific problems which aren’t easily resolved using more ‘normal’ textbook solutions.
In July 2010, Gerrard Consulting merged with WMHL Consulting cementing an informal partnership that had been in operation for many years. We seek to continuously develop new and improved services designed to support the successful delivery of software projects.
Our two Principals are Paul Gerrard and Susan Windsor who have in excess of 50 years of testing experience.
Our financial control and administration is managed by Julia Gerrard and we pride ourselves in providing timely, accurate administration.
Our non-exec Director is Steve Purchase, who joined following the merger with WMHL and who has been in IT software since the early seventies.
We host the Test Managers Forum which is run as a non-for-profit venture and is geared towards supporting experienced Test Managers and Technical Testers. Our events are discussion based (rather than presentation based) sessions and we allow time for networking and information exchange.

Testing Axioms and Pocketbook
The Testing Axioms identify the critical thinking processes for testing. As a set of context-neutral rules they also provide a universal testing framework.
The Test Axioms are defined in The Tester's Pocketbook. You can see the axioms online here: testaxioms.com.
